Change a life – Help us help

 

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and depend solely on donations. Without your help we can't save lives. L&R Rescue, Inc. is completely self-funded and relies on public donations.  We are completely run by volunteers and do not have any paid staff. We don't receive help or support from any organizations (government or otherwise). All of our dogs are fully vetted.  This means that they are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Some of our dogs are in the rescue for months, sometimes much longer. This can be very expensive. The costs of food, prevention, and grooming all add up quickly and are a part of our monthly expenses. This is why we ask for donations.  Please keep in mind that since we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, any donations made to us are tax deductable to the extent allowed by law.  If you choose to donate, you can make a general donation or specify how you would lik your donation to be used.

 

Outside of monetary donations, we are constantly in need of other supplies. We try to keep an Amazon wishlist updated with our high use materials. If you would rather donate an item than money, please take this into consideration. Donations of this type are extemely helpful.
